What Makes Attorney Jeff McCarthy Uniquely Qualified To Represent You?
Prior to law school, Jeff honorably served in the United States Army and the Texas Army National Guard as an Officer in the Cavalry. He had the opportunity to perform in key leadership roles in support of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Additionally, Jeff completed multiple overseas deployments earning the Bronze Star for his service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, deploying with the 82nd Airborne Division.
He began his legal career as a pre-select candidate with the Harris County District Attorney’s office. After prosecuting numerous crimes and fighting for the rights of the citizens of Harris County Jeff transitioned his passion for trial work to the civil courthouse by accepting a position as a Trial Attorney for a Fortune 100 Insurance Carrier and later working for one of the top insurance defense firms in Texas. During this time he gained unparalleled first chair trial experience defending cases involving personal injury, insurance defense, premises liability and general civil litigation matters. As a former insurance defense attorney Jeff has the inside knowledge of how these companies conspire against the little guy, and he will use this knowledge and insight to work for you.
Jeff is a graduate of South Texas College of Law Houston and admitted to the State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Texas.
